Some books I've recently read...
Orthodoxy By G.K. Chesterton -- This is one of the most fascinating and at the same time, confusing books I've ever read. He has some very original ideas and puts things in a way that few others do which is somewhat ironic considering he is trying to defend 'orthodoxy.' Although of course he would embrace the paradox.

A man was meant to be doubtful of himself, but undoubting about the truth; this has been exactly reversed. Nowadays the part of a man that a man does assert is exactly the part he ought not to assert himself. The part he doubts is exactly the part he ought not to doubt - the Divine Reason. (pg 27)
War of the Worlds By H.G. Wells -- A classic book that was one of the first books in the 'science fiction' genre. A good read that I'd take over the movie.
Random Quote:
"Be a man!" said I. "You are scared out of your wits! What good is religion if it collapses under calamity? Think of what earthquakes and floods, wars and volcanoes, have before to men! Did you think God had exempted Weybridge? He is not an insurance agent" (pg 76)
Prodigal God, By Tim Keller: -- Excellent Book. I highly recommend it. Buy it (or borrow) and read it!
Random Quote:
Here, then, is Jesus's radical redefinition of what is wrong with us. Nearly everyone defines sin as breaking a list of rules. Jesus, though, shows us that a man who has violated virtually nothing on the list of moral misbehaviors can be every bit as spiritually lost as the most profligate, immoral person. Why? Because sin is not just breaking the rules, it is putting yourself in the place of God as Savior, Lord, and Judge just as each son sought to displace the authority of the father in his own life. (pg 43)

Cool Stuff
So I was thinking that I have neglected my blog and I got nostalgic and thought I would post on here again. Then I ran across this cool video and so I hope you enjoy it. Its a really cool look at how music is embedded innately into who we are.
